The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor in our college. The function commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by our respected Principal Madam, accompanied by faculty members and students. Everyone joined in singing the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with pride and devotion towards the nation.
The program began with a soulful shabad presented by the alumni members along with Ms. Baisakhi Banerjee, Music In-charge, seeking divine blessings. It was followed by a video presentation on the diversity of India, reflecting the unity of our culture and traditions. Students of B.Ed. Semester III and alumni members then presented patriotic songs and inspiring speeches that filled everyone with love and respect for the nation.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Parveen Sharma, Assistant Professor, who carried out the proceedings with grace and enthusiasm. Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Principal, addressed the gathering with her valuable words, motivating the students to uphold the values of freedom, responsibility and national unity.
The program concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Pardeep Singh, Assistant Professor, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, faculty and students for making the celebration a success.
