Teaching and Teaching-aid Preparation Competition

Partap College of Education is proud to host the Panjab University Zonal Skill-in –Teaching and Teaching-aid Preparation Competition on
February 14, 2025. The prestigious event aimed to promote innovative
teaching methods and recognize excellence in teaching among
educators. The competition featured four categories; Pedagogy of Social
Studies, Pedagogy of Economics, Pedagogy of Commerce and Pedagogy
of Physical Education.
Chief Guest for the event was Ms. Dimple Madan, District Education Officer (Secondary), Ludhiana. Dr. Tarlok Bandhu, Principal, Khalsa College of Education, Sri Muktsar Sahib graced the occasion as the observer. The Director of Partap College of Education delivered a motivational address, inspiring students to excel in the Skill and Teaching Competition. He emphasized some key aspects of effective teaching for the future generation. His insightful remarks motivated the students to strive for excellence in teaching and inspired them to make a positive impact on future generations.
Educators from ten education colleges affiliated with Panjab University participated in the competition, showcasing their teaching skills and creativity. Dr. Tarlok Bandhu shared his enthusiastic appreciation for the creative displays. He provided constructive suggestions and expert recommendations for innovative teaching methods and model making techniques, offering a valuable contribution to the academic community. Ms. Dimple Madan, District education officer, offered valuable suggestions for future improvements and praised the participants for
their outstanding performances.

In pedagogy of Commerce, Skill in Teaching, Samridhi Kareer from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana, Smity Malhotra from D.M. College of Education, Moga and Shubhra Sharma from Partap College of Education, Ludhiana bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively. In the same subject, On the spot Teaching aid preparation, Komal Thakur from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana, Shifali Chhetri from Shukdeva Krishna College of Education for Girls, Moga and Ashpreet Kaur from Partap College of Education, Ludhiana bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively. Mamta Rani from Partap College of Education bagged the first prize in
pedagogy of Physical education Skill in Teaching and Rukmani from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana in on the spot Teaching
Aid preparation bagged the third prize. In Pedagogy of Economics, Mahima Trighatia from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana, Gurleen Kaur from Baba Mangal Singh Institute of Education, Bughipura, Moga, Priyanka from D.M. College of Education, Moga, bagged the first, second, third positions respectively and Bhavsimran Kaur from Partap College of Education, Ludhiana won the Consolation prize. In the same subject, in on the spot Teaching aid preparation Aditi Sharma from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana won first rank, Simran Jeet from D. M. College of Education, Moga won second rank, Gurdeep Kaur from GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar won third rank and Manpreet Kaur from Partap College of Education, Ludhiana bagged consolation prize.

In Pedagogy of Social Studies Aashita Khatri from Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana won first prize, Sharanjeet Kaur from G.H.G. Harparkash College of Education, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana won second prize, Akashdeep Kaur from S.D.S. College of Education for Women, Lopon, Moga won third prize and Kajal from Partap College of Education, Ludhiana won the Consolation prize. In the same subject, on the spot Teaching aid Preparation Ranveer Singh, GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar, Simranjeet Kaur, Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana, Simarjeet Kaur, Shukdeva Krishna College of Education for Girls, Moga won first, second and
third prizes respectively and Gurleen Kaur, G.H.G Harparkash College of Education, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana was awarded the Consolation prize.
Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Principal of the college expressed her deepest appreciation to the gathering and felicitated the students, winners and participants for their outstanding contributions to the event. She added that our college is working for the development of innovative teaching techniques and methods that will benefit future generation, empowering them with knowledge, skills and values necessary to succeed in an ever- evolving world. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor and organising secretary for the event followed by the National Anthem.
