Partap College of Education, Ludhiana organised an International Webinar in collaboration with IPDA India and IPDA UK. International Professional development Association is an association that has been working for professional development of teachers since 1968. It has its six national associations and Partap College of Education established IPDA India in 2013 and it is head quarter of IPDA India. The topic of the webinar is Professional Change and Resilience of Teacher Educators during COVID-19. The focus of the webinar is to elaborate the challenges for teacher educators during this testing time and the need to develop resilience as professionals. Partap IPDA International Conference-2017 Partap College of Education, Ludhiana, in collaboration with International Professional Development Association (IPDA), U.K. is organised a three day International Conference on the theme “Development of professional leadership among teachers " from 27.10.2017 to 29.10.2017. The conference began with Dr. Balwant Singh, Principal Partap College of Education, Ludhiana welcoming the guests from abroad and various places in India. Dilating upon the purpose and objectives of the conference, Dr. Balwant Singh, emphasised on the deep connection between professional leadership and powerful learning experiences. He said that mentoring, particularly in the case of prospective teachers, plays a vital role in professional development of the teachers. It is a matter of pride and great honour for the city of Ludhiana that Dr. Balwant Singh, Principal, Partap College of Education, has been awarded the title of Fellow of the International Professional Development Association at University of Stirling, Stirling, Scotland, UK. The Association was founded in 1968 as the in-service section of what was then the Association of Teachers in Colleges and Departments of Education.
