Medical and Dental Camp

In continuation of human endeavor, a free medical and dental camp was organized at Partap College of Education, Ludhiana. A team of Dr. Rajesh Arora, Senior specialist carried out a comprehensive dental checkup of students. Dr. Balwant Singh, Principal of Partap College of Education, Ludhiana was the patron of this camp. Dr. Sangeeta Sood and Mrs. Poonam Bala organized the camp. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay. Role of Meditation in Self Development 27.3.2018 An Extension Lecture was held at the campus of Partap College of Education, Ludhiana on the ‘Role of Meditation in Self Development.’ Mr. Anil Bharti was the keynote speaker who is a president of Swami Vivekanand Swarg Ashram Trust, Model town extension, Ludhiana. Mrs Leena Bharti who is the volunteer of the pyramid spiritual societies movement wasalso present there. Youth Empowerment Day 23.3.2018

Celebrations @ College

The martyrdom day of Saheed Bhagat Singh Ji was celebrated as youth Empowerment Day in Partap College of Education, Ludhiana as instructed by Punjab Govt. On this occasion, the principal of Partap College Dr. Balwant Singh, vice principal. Dr. Manpreet Kaur, all the staff members and students (B.Ed, D.El.Ed) were present. In the beginning of the function Mrs. Parveen Sharma, the Assistant Professor of this college described the importance of this day. All the students and the staff members took pledge as "Drug Abuse Prevention Officers" to stay away from drugs. After that the students told about the lives of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Partap College of Education organised 18th Annual Sports Meet in the college campus on 17th March 2018. Dr. Nirmal Singh Jaura, Director, Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Dr. Balwant Singh welcomed the distinguished guest with bouquet and motivated the students to participate whole heartedly in all the sports activities. The event began with the hoisting of college flag and release of balloons by the chief guest. The Principal Dr. Balwant Singh welcomed Prof. Zoya. Prof. Zoya commenced her lecture comparing Indian education system with that of USA. She said that the major difference between the two lies in the manner of evaluation. While Indian system of evaluation encourages us cramming and memorization, that in USA is based on logical process, to develop cognitive thinking and relate the problem to the real life situations. The International Women’s Day which is observed on 8th March was celebrated at Partap College of Education, Ludhiana. Dr. Sarita Bahl, Principal D.D.
