Partap college of Education, Ludhiana, celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with the members of Indian Association of Physiotherapist Women Cell today i.e. 08-09-2018.  Dr. Ruchika Bansal and her team came here to create awareness among the mass. Vice principal Dr. Manpreet Kaur welcomed and introduced them to the audience. Dr. Ruchika told that Physiotherapy is a treatment of diseases, injury and deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment and exercises rather than drugs and surgery. It promotes mobility and function. Physiotherapy which is also known as physical therapy helps a heart patient to recover from stroke and  helps a diabetic patient to manage diabetes. In continuation of human endeavor, a free medical and dental camp was organized at Partap College of Education, Ludhiana. A team of Dr. Rajesh Arora, Senior specialist carried out a comprehensive dental checkup of students. Dr. Balwant Singh, Principal of Partap College of Education, Ludhiana was the patron of this camp. Dr. Sangeeta Sood and Mrs. Poonam Bala organized the camp. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay.
