Republic Day  26-01-2019

Partap College of Education, Ludhiana under the Patronage of Rotary Club, Ludhiana (North) organized the installation ceremony of the new team of office bearers of Rotaract Club of Partap College of Education. The coincidence of 70th Republic Day celebration with the installation ceremony added colorful flavours to the occasion. Rotarian Ajay Verma (President, Rotary Club, Ludhiana (North),Rotarian Pritpal Singh Deol (Ex-President of Rotary Club, Ludhiana (North), other Rotarians Mr. Ashok Jain, Mr. Rohit Jindal (Joint Secretary ), G.S. Saini (Assistant Governor), S. Gurjit Singh , D.S. Makkar, S.Mohan Singh  were present in this programme.

Principal Dr. Balwant Singh welcomed all the worthy guests. In presence of all the staff members, students & guests National Flag was hoisted, saluted and the National Anthem was sung.

The installation ceremony was started with a cultural function. The students of the college performed different patriotic songs, dances, poetry recitation, speech etc. The Rotaract Incharge Mrs. Poonam Bala expressed the feelings of patriotism and motivated all the pupil teachers to keep patriotic, spirit and social values in their minds and hearts. She also presented the report of different activities performed by the Rotaract Club in the previous year.

B.Ed. student Rohit Kumar was selected as the President, Pankaj Kumar as Vice President, Poonam as Treasurer, Kanika as Secretary ,Alka as Co-Secretary, Jyoti, Sheela Rani, Sakshi, Sukhsham, Manpreet Kaur, Palak Kapoor as sergeants for the new Rotaract team. Assistant Professor Mrs. Poonam Bala was again selected as the director of Rotaract Club.  The President of Rotary Club Rotarian Ajay Verma , Dr. Balwant Singh (Principal),Dr. Manpreet Kaur (Vice Principal) and oter Rotarians offered badges and pins to all the new members of Rotaract Club. Certificates were also given to the previous Rotract team members and participants of ‘ Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ issued by Government of India. At the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Rotaract Club Teacher  Incharge Mrs. Poonam Bala.
